It
Gets Hot In July In Texas
One day as I was on my way to deliver two babies at the convalescent
home where my father was, I stopped at the local department store to pick
up a few items. I left the babies (dolls) in the back seat of the car,
standing up facing the back of the seat. I wasn't in the store long before
there was a frantic announcement over the pager " would whoever owns a Chevrolet, license plate number XX-XXXX please come to the courtesy
booth immediately! Two small children are locked in your car and we will
have to break the windows to save them if you do not come now! "OF
COURSE it was my car and the children were my dolls! After making
my way to the front of the store I tried to explain to the staff that they
were dolls. However, they required proof, sol had to go unlock my car and
show them that indeed the children were not real! The police officer told
me to cover them or put them in the trunk from now on
.

Trouble
Again!
I am a waitress at a local restaurant, and often take my dolls to work
with me, where they sell very well. One day I took a boy doll to work with
me and stood him in a comer out of the way. Later about six county
sheriffs department officers came in for coffee. I noticed they kept
looking at my doll in the comer, being so still and quiet, I thought they
were admiring it- Finally one of them asked me "WHOSE CHILD IS
THAT?" Well, I thought that I’d playing along and I said "It’s
my grandson (as I stomped my foot) and he has been very bad, so I made him
stand in the corner." All six men stood up at once, and I knew right
away I was in trouble! So very quickly I showed them my Grandson was one
of my Sally’s Babies! Needless to say that I haven’t done that again.

I love all of my kids and I’ll never forgot what my
mother told me:
When they are children they
step on your toes, when they grow up they step on your heart!
That's why my logo is the small prints of the babies.
I trust that I have brought a little joy to your heart.
