We are located in Bastrop, Texas approximately 30 miles southeast of Austin. Girl Scouting is open to all girls ages 5 to 17. Adults of any age can join too as volunteers lifetime members or alumnae members. In the Bastrop Service Unit there are currently 221 girls and 114 adults registered. There is a total of 24 Girl Scout troops: 3 Daisy troops, 9 Brownie troops, 5 Junior troops, 2 Junior/Cadette troops, 3 Cadette troops, and 1 Cadette/Senior troop.
